     4.  Bereavement Program-

Serenity Hospice Foundation has created a unique bereavement support program designed to provide grief counseling training to valley companies.  The impact and cost to companies and organizations in lost productivity is staggering.  The Grief Recovery Institute in California estimates the hidden costs of grief to be as high as $75 Billion annually to employers in America.

The Bereavement Support Group Program convenes two volunteers from a company to participate in a half-day seminar that will provide the tools, knowledge and understanding of how to lead a grief support group.  The seminar includes participation by your employees in an actual support group that combined with the training will provide them with the necessary skills and ability to lead a grief support group for your organization.

By introducing a Bereavement Support Group at your company, you will provide support to individuals and their families to resolve grief in a healthy and productive way, thus minimizing the emotional and financial impact to the organization.

Please contact us to discuss the program in further detail and to learn how you can begin to provide your employees with a meaningful support system that can assist with the bereavement process that will not only significantly benefit your employees, but the company as well.
